How flexible and iterative ways of working make companies and employees more resilient was the topic of this year’s Agile Austria Conference 2021. […]
In mid-October, after a corona-related break, the conference on agile management methods took place again as an interactive online event, organized by JIPP.IT, BearingPoint, APUS and Parkside Interactive. In addition to the keynote speakers Sigi Kaltenecker and Sohrab Salimi, numerous representatives from mainly Austrian companies were invited to the digital stage. Raiffeisen, Dynatrace, Erste Bank, willhaben, Magenta Telekom and Österreichische Post have shared their experiences with agility in case studies among many other companies.
“We need a new culture of relationships and vitality for our companies,” said guest speaker Univ.-Prof. DDr. Michael Lehofer in his lecture. In addition to the lectures and case studies, intensive masterclasses on agile topics were offered. With 300 online participants, the conference was a huge success. One of the highlights, an online wine tasting with a tasting package, offered the opportunity for interesting discussions as a network event.
8.000 Euro donation to SOS Children’s Village
“What makes us organizers particularly happy is that the net proceeds of the conference in the amount of 8,000 euros will go to the student housing group Graz of SOS Children’s Villages,” says Wolfgang Richter from JIPP.IT . The price of the tickets was freely selectable for all participants, a fixed fee was waived. The entire net proceeds of the conference went to the charitable purpose of the SOS Children’s Village. The contribution will now be used for the renovation of the premises. Everyone was visibly happy at the donation check handover, which took place on site in the student flat.
