Turning your presentation into a video is easier than you think, with these simple steps you can do it in no time […]
You want to turn your PowerPoint slides into a video? Then you’re in luck. Microsoft PowerPoint has a built-in function that allows you to convert the presentation. This is especially useful if you want to share the presentation with others, especially if they don’t have PowerPoint.
To do this, open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to turn into a video and click on the “File” tab in the upper left corner of the window.
Then click Export in the left pane and select Create Video from the Export options.
Now it’s time to choose the video quality and recorded timings and comments. As for the video quality, you can choose between four different options:
- Ultra HD (4K): The largest file size available with ultra-high quality.
- Full HD (1080p): A large file size with high quality.
- HD (720p): A medium file size with moderate quality.
- Default (480p): The smallest file size with the lowest quality.
Once you have selected the video quality, use the option below to choose whether or not you want to include the recorded timings and comments.
Next, you can set how many seconds each slide should be shown during the video. The default setting is 5 seconds. Click the up or down arrow to increase or decrease the time in 1-second increments.
When you’re done, click Create Video.
Finally, choose a location to save the video on your computer. After the selection, PowerPoint will then start the conversion. How much time it takes to convert the presentation to a video depends on the size of the presentation and the quality of the selected video.
You can follow the progress of the conversion at the bottom of the PowerPoint presentation. When the conversion is complete, you will receive a notification.
