HP introduces Pavilion notebooks

Shortly after the new Envy and Spectre laptops, HP launches new Pavilion notebooks for end users. […]

Only in the middle of this month, the manufacturer had presented new Envy and Spectre laptops for end consumers. In addition, there were new devices for the gaming and business sector. Now HP presents new Pavilion PCs. According to the manufacturer, over 30 percent of consumers also buy a PC purely for entertainment purposes. This is where the HP Pavilion models come in and want to offer both flexible and location-independent entertainment as well as top work performance.

Pavilion models have a 5 MP camera with HP Presence technology (incl. AI Noise Removal), room for personalization (HP Command Center, Performance Mode, Balanced Mode and Power Saver Mode), sound-intensive audio experience (two Bang & Olufsen speakers), as well as the pre-installed HP Palette app. In addition, the notebooks are made of recycled metal (ocean-bound plasics) and are both EPEAT Gold and Energy Star certified, according to HP.

The devices come with the operating system Windows 11.

HP Pavilion Plus (14-inch laptop PC)

At 16.5 mm, the 14-inch notebook is HP’s thinnest Pavilion laptop to date.

Intel Core processors of the 12th generation (H series) and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4GB graphics cards work under the hood – in the maximum configuration – and should provide great gaming pleasure with the OMEN Gaming Hub. Two fans plus two heatpipes cool the device and improve air circulation.

The OLED display, which is available for Pavilion notebooks for the first time, offers a resolution of up to 2.8K. The aspect ratio is 16:10. The network performance is automatically adjusted via HP Network Booster, according to a statement.

The notebook is available in different color variants in Space Blue, Warm Gold, Mineral Silver, Tranquil Pink or Natural Silver.

Price and availability

The HP Pavilion Plus 14 is expected to be available from June and will cost 1300 euros (RRP).
