Applications can be submitted until 6 September 2021. “Our goal is to promote domestic start-ups, to gain a foothold in the AI scene. This will focus on innovative projects that have so far been overshadowed by US companies,“ explains Werner Girth, KPMG Partner and initiator of the AI Award. “In Austria, we are still noticing a certain reluctance. Our goal is to contribute to the networking of start-ups and companies with our initiative,“ adds Girth.
Start-ups can submit their projects online until September 6, 2021 at www.ki-award.at submit. The best projects will be invited to a pitch in front of an external jury consisting of AI experts and executives from well-known Austrian companies at the end of September. The evaluation is carried out as in previous years with a focus on innovation, customer benefit and technology. The winners will be announced at the 17th Predictive Analytics Conference on 12 October 2021 and will have the opportunity to present their project on site and make important contacts with renowned companies.
