LogPoint combines SIEM’s analytical capabilities with SOAR’s powerful automation and response tools, enhanced by UEBA based on advanced machine learning technology.

“We are very pleased to announce our partnership with Connectware, and I am convinced that LogPoint will significantly expand the technology package that Connectware offers to its customers. We are united by the focus on a market-leading time-to-value and a technology that enables cybersecurity teams to achieve more with less effort“” says Pascal Cronauer, Regional Director for Logpoint in CEMEA.

Connectware, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Mühltal near Frankfurt, is an IT security provider that offers solutions for the extended protection of corporate data for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The portfolio includes a wide range of cyber defense solutions, including SIEM, vulnerability management, identity and access rights management, data leakage prevention and email encryption.

“There are four main reasons for choosing LogPoint as our new SIEM partner. First of all, LogPoint is a European SIEM provider that is fully focused on converging SIEM technology. The solution is easy to implement and use. And last but not least, LogPoint offers a licensing model based on the number of devices, which means that the costs are transparent and predictable,“ says André Tauber, CEO and Founder of Connectware.

Tauber also highlights that LogPoint is the only provider with a Common Criteria EAL Level 3+ certification. This is a prerequisite for organizations that process classified information, including defense and police forces, intelligence services and infrastructure-critical sectors such as healthcare, finance and energy. Tauber also points to LogPoint UEBA, which supports behavioral analytics and the unprecedented native SOAR, which enables automated response to cybersecurity incidents.

“We see great market potential in Germany for medium-sized companies with 500 to 5,000 employees. Many have only recently realized that they need to take new and drastic measures to protect themselves against the flood of cyber attacks. A platform like LogPoint, which combines SIEM’s analytical capabilities with powerful SOAR reaction tools, is perfectly suited for organizations of this size,“ says André Tauber.

At LogPoint, SOAR is a native part of SIEM, which means that customers get a single solution for the entire detection, investigation and response process. In this way, LogPoint moves from security analysis to security processes and introduces automation and a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
