Microsoft Flight Simulator now supports VR
The VR simulator from Microsoft is finally available for VR headsets with the support of Open XR since December 22. The owners of HTC, Oculus, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality can try to run the simulator on your device.
Microsoft Flight Simulator started in VR is not quite traditional. You first need to run the game on PC, and then press the switch in the main menu. Here is a video showing gameplay on HP Reverb G2 c binding joystick Thrustmaster from developer Asobo:
In Flight Simulator displays the game menu in the virtual space, allowing you to interact more smoothly. Also you can control the flight in a VR-helmet, using a computer mouse, not a controller.
The update added a training mission for the management of the Airbus A320neo, weather effects and Live Weather (display a realistic ice cover, snow). Also, the developers have corrected some bugs and included a few tweaks.
