Our Igor Terekhov tested helmet mixed reality Acer AH101 (team project). About what it is and what it has chips — see this video:
The helmet has two LCD displays with a resolution of 1440×1440 pixels (total resolution of 2880×1440 pixels) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The package includes two wireless controller for tracking hand movements. The helmet can also be used in tandem with traditional keyboard, mouse or gamepad, but that starts to rock.
I love that the front part can also be easily folded up if you need something to watch in the real world — completely remove the helmet is not needed.
To track the space does not need to buy any sensors in the helmet has two fisheye cameras, which once again provide tracking. But there is the disadvantage of this solution — if your hands are outside the field of view of the cameras, then returning them to the frame system for a while retarding.
For work Acer Mixed Reality AH101 will need a laptop or computer with Nvidia GTX 965M GeForce, AMD Radeon RX 460 or a more powerful model, the 8 GB of RAM and installed Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
Helmet Acer Mixed Reality AH101 in Russia at a price of 32 900 rubles.
