In its family of mobile devices for professional use, Panasonic is introducing the Toughbook S1, a new compact Android tablet. It is available at prices from Fr. 1243. – (MSRP, plus VAT) VAT) or from 1081 Euro (without VAT) available now.
With the IPS display in 7-inch format, it is so handy that it can be operated with one hand. Gloves or an optional pen can also be used on the screen. A port can be used flexibly, for example for a barcode module or an additional USB port. An optional LTE module is also available.
The enclosure has IP65 dust and water protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. It is designed to withstand falls on concrete from a height of up to 1.5 metres.
Other features include a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of data storage, a 13 megapixel camera with flash and a 5 megapixel frontcam. The battery can be changed during operation and is available in two sizes.
