You have a weakness for good web design, love language and terms from JavaScript to CSS to flat design are you familiar? Then you could soon find a new home in our t3n editorial team – or you can secure our reward of 1,000 euros for a tip.

We are now looking for an editor (m / f / d) for outstaffing web design and development for our location in Hanover or, if necessary, from our home office. If you yourself are out of the question, but give us a personal intro to a suitable candidate for the position, you can secure yourself a reward. If your contact becomes the new editor (m / f / d) for design and development at t3n, you will receive 1,000 euros. Whether for you or someone else – here is everything you need to know about our vacancy.

Your heart beats for web design, you are familiar with HTML and CSS and have an overview of the most important tools and news for web designers. Ideally, your knowledge and interest go beyond that and you are also interested in web development and what is relevant in the frontend – from JavaScript to the currently popular frameworks for web development.

It doesn’t matter if you can’t program yourself – but you have the latest trends in web design on your screen. Ideally, you already have some experience writing articles – for example on your blog. Experience in an editorial office is welcome, but not a prerequisite – we are also happy to accept career changers. And: You are a team player!

In our editorial team you write about the latest trends, helpful tools and advice on everything to do with web design and you build your own network around web development and design. And so that you can get ahead in your specialist areas, we’ll send you to exciting industry events.

You write mostly for t3n.de, which is updated daily, but also for our printed magazine again and again. We enable you to continue training so that you are always up to date.

If you do not have any professional experience, we are happy to offer you our 24-month traineeship as an apprenticeship. Here you will learn the tools of the trade at t3n to be at the forefront of tomorrow’s media world. You are a full member of the editorial team, can contribute your own ideas and will come into contact with all kinds of web analysis tools.

Of course, you will also work in other departments as part of your internship and, for example, participate in the production of the t3n magazine. In all of this, journalism is not neglected either. For example, we will send you to courses at renowned organizations in which you will be taught the journalistic craft from the ground up.

Your tasks include:

  • Selection of topics for the Development & Design department
  • Attending relevant events
  • Dealing with editorial and content management systems
  • Support of freelance authors and content partners
  • Writing and updating articles for t3n.de and the magazine

What to bring:

What actually is this t3n?

t3n has been growing for 13 years and is changing from a pure print and online magazine to a platform for the digital economy and a movement for digital pioneers. t3n.de now has around five million visits per month. The latest baby in the t3n family is the Pioneers Network, with which we want to make visible who these digital pioneers are, who work every day to use the opportunities of digitization instead of conjuring up the dangers.

It’s very simple: Send us your application by email to jobs@t3n.de. Your contact person is the online editor-in-chief Stephan Dörner. If you yourself are out of the question, but know someone who knows someone … oh, you know how it works: Sharing is caring! 🙂
