Decades of expertise for proALPHA customers
Founded in Japan in 1967, NTT DATA has decades of experience in the field of IT security services. With 7,000 experienced cybersecurity employees worldwide, NTT DATA uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and complex algorithms to assess the risk situation of PROALPHA’s customers, enables well-founded risk decisions, provides guidance to ensure compliance, evaluates and implements appropriate security technologies and helps with sustainable damage remediation.
“OT is not inherently secure, as it was originally assumed during development that these devices would not come into contact with external threats,” emphasizes Otmar Zewald, Head of Product Management at Proalpha. This attack surface is now being further expanded by the increasing remote access by third parties, which creates new security gaps. Therefore, it is necessary to close possible gateways for hackers, especially with initiatives towards the smart factory.
