But software-defined everything also offers advantages in many critical areas. In the case of attacks by cyber criminals, infected systems no longer need to be cleaned up. Instead, clean, virtual machines allow seamless continuation of work without causing any disruption to users.
A unified security policy can also be easily implemented company-wide and managed centrally with SDx technologies. Even the introduction of new devices is simplified because they simply fit into the existing security protocols. Entire user environments can easily move to new data centers. In the event of a successful attack, it is even possible to react quickly and purposefully with enhanced security measures.
